Heard of snail mail? This necklace emulates the wax seal found on the slowest of all mail in pure recycled .925 silver. Dee moulded tiny snail shells found in her back garden (no snails were harmed in the making of this jewellery) and combined them with scultped wax to create a wax model which is then cast in 100% recycled silver.
Comes on an 18" chain with an additional loop at 16" for wearing at different lengths. A handmade hook and loop closure makes the necklace secure but still easy to do up. Comes in plastic-free packaging suitable for gifting.
Despite being a bit grossed out by them in real life, snails are such wonderful art subjects (and very important for the environment) and I throughly enjoyed creating this collection which encourages us to slow down and live with intention and carefully considered core values.
