Upon confirming that I can make your custom piece for you, I will send you the address for shipping your sea glass (if applicable) and a link for payment that will allow you to checkout through my website. This means that if you have a gift card, you can apply it to the cost.

STANDARD DESIGN VS UNIQUE DESIGN

There are two routes to go with Custom Pieces: You can choose from one of my standard designs or have a unique design made. 

Standard designs are made exactly as they are seen. No additions or alterations. These are pictured with prices, below. Prices include shipping, UK & International.

A unique design allows for more personalisation but I do have limited availability to work on these each month as they require much more time communicating back and forth, designing and making the piece. Each piece will be custom-quoted. 

After a unique design and its quote have been approved by you, a 20% non-refundable deposit is required in order for work to commence. Once completed, I will take pictures of the piece for your approval and then once the remaining 80% payment is received, I will ship the piece to you.

TIMEFRAME

The time required to complete pieces varies greatly on the design being done, the time of year, and my current work load.

All gold pieces over 1 gram in weight (which is almost all of them) require hallmarking and this will add at least a week. Silver pieces heavier than 7.78 grams must also be hallmarked.

An estimated completion date will be provided and if any changes arise, I will communicate that with you.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Though I take great care, when working with sea glass there is always a risk of breakage, especially in designs where a hole needs to be drilled. This is rare, but it can happen. If it does, I will contact you to see how you would like to proceed. Sometimes the sea glass can still be used in alternate ways. 

Not all pieces of sea glass are suited for jewellery-making. I can make most work, but sometimes alterations to the glass are required such as grinding off an uneven back or sanding down uneven edges. Any alterations required will be discussed and approved by you before I begin. 

The cost and packaging when sending your sea glass / pottery to me is your responsibility. Please securely wrap your sea glass inside a sturdy box. Putting it into a padded envelope alone is not enough protection.

ORDERS FROM OUTSIDE OF THE UK

I am not liable for any fees if you are ordering from outside of the UK.

My website is set up to collect VAT for EU member states and because I am based in Northern Ireland, no further customs should be required for EU member states. 

METAL OPTIONS

I only work in 100% recycled solid silver or gold.

Gold-plated options may be coming soon but are not available at this time.

Brass or copper may be options. I will discuss the properties and care required for these metals, specifically, when replying to your enquiry.
