Twig Earrings - Whirlygig Threaders

Whirligigs? Helicopters? What do you call them? They provided endless entertainment for me as a child. I would walk up and down the street collecting them and tossing them, making up stories the whole time. Not much has changed and I apologise to any fellow walkers I have freaked out during my recent whirlig foragings! 

These seeds are replicas of the perfectly tiny sycamore seed I found on one of my many walks. The seed's texture is beautifully and delicately preserved front and back. The threader style allows for easy insertion and removal, especially if you struggle with dexterity and tiny, fiddly backings. The curved silver in the middle hugs the lobe so they stay securely in as they swing, swing, swing!

The seed is cast in 100% recycled silver reclaimed from x-rays and the fittings from 100% recycled silver from other sources. The earrings come in a branded, 100% plastic-free gift box.
