Dee moulded tiny snail shells found in her back garden (no snails were harmed in the making of this jewellery) and combined them wtih scultped wax to create tiny snail wax models which are then cast in 100% recycled silver. Even the tiny ridges in the original snail shells have made it into the final pieces. They come in plastic-free packaging suitable for gifting.
Despite being a bit grossed out by them in real life, snails are such wonderful art subjects (and very important for the environment) and I throughly enjoyed creating this collection which encourages us to slow down and live with intention and carefully considered core values.
