cLASSIC Buttercream

Buttercream - frosting - icing. Whatever you call it, it's the soft, sweet spreadable stuff that melts in your mouth and pairs perfectly with a perfectly baked sponge. 

QBF bakery uses Swiss Meringue Buttercream which is less sweet and lighter and fluffier than American buttercream. No margarine is used. All butter baby! 

Flavors are achieved with fresh ingredients, love, and care.

SPECIAL FROSTINGS

These frostings have no butter and have unique textures and flavors. 

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING

Fluffy, not too-sweet, frosting with the tang of cream cheese. Classically paired with red velvet and carrot cake.

MARSHMALLOW

A very, light fluffy cream reminiscent of marshamallow fluff. 

WHIPPED CREAM

Lightly sweetened and flavored with vanilla, cream is excellent for simple outer covering of a cake or simple topping. Not suitable as a filling for large or tiered cakes.

CHOCOLATE GANACHE

Made from chocolate and heavy cream, this decadent delight can be made in dark, milk, or white chocolate and can be used as a filling or cake covering.

 

 

cLASSIC sPONGE

Our sponges are made to order with high-quality, local products like Drayne's milk and Springmount Farms eggs. We use rich, grass fed Irish butter - never margarine. 

Flavors are achieved with fresh ingredients, love, and care. 


CLASSIC VANILLA

Perfect for the classic Victoria sponge pairing of cream and jam or as the base for one of our delicious buttercreams.

Add sprinkles for a fun confetti look to the sponge. 

WHITE VELVET

Much like its cousin the red velvet cake, this vanilla-almond cake is a little more dense with a very moist crumb and not too sweet flavor. Ideal for wedding cakes.

RED VELVET

A light cocoa flavor and tang from the buttermilk in the batter make this moist a special treat. We use natural food colors in lieu of the bucket of red food coloring, resulting in a more subtle, deep mahogany color. 

DARK CHOCOLATE

Made with a secret ingredient, this cake has a truly amazing depth of chocolate flavor with a deep, almost black color. A must for any chocolate lover!

BANANA

Natural sweetness from fresh bananas is exemplified with touches of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves in this wonderfully rich, moist cake. 

SALTED CARAMEL

Brown sugar gives this sponge a beautiful golden hue and rich, muscovado taste to match. 

LEMON DRIZZLE

Made with fresh, tart lemons, this cake is the perfect choice to balance out the sweetness of buttercream. 

COCONUT

Tropical and refreshing, this coconut cake pairs beautifully with dark chocolate buttercream or ganache. 

CARROT

What better way to get your veggies in than cake? This beautifully moist and spiced cake will do the trick nicely.
